英语不定冠词a 和an的基本用法

1、指人或事物某一类中的一个，使其跟其他类别的人或事物区别开来。She is a teacher.她是个老师。He bought a book yesterday.他昨天买了一本书。There is an apple on the table.桌子上有只苹果。

2、表示某一类事物或某一类人，但不具体指个体，而指一个亿姣灵秀类别，用法和意思跟any接近。A computer is a very useful tool for all of us.计算机对我们所有人来讲都是一种很有用的工具。A student should work hard at his lessons.学生应该努力学好功课。An Italian speaks Italian.意大利人讲意大利语。

3、相当于数词one，表示“一个”。They will be back in a day or two.他们将在一两天后回来。We go to the cinema once a month.我们一个月看一次电影。

4、但不定冠词跟数词one还是有区别的，不定冠词注重类别，而数词one注重数量。There is an English book on the desk.书桌上有本英语书。 （ 意思是不是日语书或韩语书，而是英语书。）There is one English book on the desk.书桌上有一本英语书。 （意思是不是两本或几本，而是一本。）

5、用于一些固定词组或习惯用语中。in a hurry 匆忙，have a look 看一看、瞧一瞧，have a headache头疼，as a whole 作为一个整体来看，once upon a time 从前
